Community Sewing Classes

I'll be offering classes this Fall through the Loutit Library Maker's Space - free to the community! September: "Learn to Sew" - come learn how to use a sewing machine, basic sewing terminology, introductory skills and make a simple project! October: "Upcycle Your Jeans" - deconstruct an old pair of jeans and make a tote bag! Basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine and basic sewing skills required. November: "Mending Clinic" - bring your items that need a simple repair to have them fixed while you wait! (note - this clinic is for basic mending such as repairing a seam, attaching a button, patching a hole etc. not alterations.) December: "Holiday Make & Take" - make handmade simple gifts for the giving season! watch for more info www.loutitlibrary.org
